Travelers are advised to start the application process well in advance of their scheduled trip.

Also, ensure that your passport is going to be valid for at least 06 months after the date of your arrival in Brazil.

All visitors are recommended by the Brazilian Ministry of Health to take the yellow fever vaccine more than 10 days prior the trip starts. The ones who have already taken it may consider its 10 years validity. Brazil requires an international certificate of vaccination against Yellow Fever for tourists from some countries: Angola, Benin, Bolivia, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Colombia, Ecuador, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea Bissau, Guyana, Liberia, Nigeria, Peru, Democratic Republic of Congo, Sierra Leone, Sudan, Venezuela and Zaire.
